Inventory and Purchasing Coordinator
Successful candidate would be involved in the pricing and inventory control activities
and functions in support of the materials used throughout the organization.
Requires collaboration with both internal and external
sources to negotiate, control costs and insure reliable supply.
Works with vendors and internal sales personnel to understand lead time
requirements and assure materials are ordered on time. Performs procurement
activities within the Company and works to control inventory levels
and organize all inventory information.
- Work collaboratively across all departments and ensure all goals and objectives are on time and on budget.
- Consistently maintain positive working relationships with all Department members and internal/external customers, and proactively drive best practices and innovative policies and procedures.
- Additional responsibilities for individual and departmental administrative and clerical tasks as are necessary to support the Purchasing Department.
Requirements:
- 4+ yrs Purchasing / ERP or relevant experience
- Experience in Industrial Business Environment desired

DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR/REPORTS DEVELOPER
Iowa Fluid Power is seeking a full-time database administrator to work from the
ground up on install and customization of new enterprise resource planning (ERP)
software for distribution and light manufacturing.
Candidate will provide support for implementation of the ERP,
as well as pulling data and writing reports from a Microsoft SQL server database.
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
and be able to establish priorities and work independently.
Work with different departments and management team to translate requirements
into technical specifications and produce reports.
Skills and requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with SQL queries and object oriented programming
- Experience with data integration between MS-SQL and MS-office applications.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a small business environment
- Crystal Reports or other SQL based report writer experience required
Additional Skills:
- Programming experience a plus (VB.NET, ASP.NET preferred)
- Some network experience or familiarity also a plus
