Kukie, our "Robo-shipper"
When we re-designed our warehouse to increase effiency and use of space we put in a carousel to hold about 5000 part numbers we put the carousel on a mezzene that allowed more stock to be stored underneath.
This created a need to raise and lower the stock as to went to and from the carousel. Instead of using conventianial verticle lift modules IFP decidied to make it a showcase of it's line of high-tech product lines. We put in a Kuka Industrial Robot to lift the parts up and down from conveyor belts used to stage the movement of the stock.
